Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in field service within a manufacturing facility. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R systems and other mechanical equipment.
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters and scissor lifts to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
- Conduct inspections of high voltage systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve system efficiency and reliability.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Priority given to those with mechanical experience/mechanical print reading.
- Possess strong troubleshooting abilities relating to industrial . Ability to perform various mechanical duties with valves, bearings, vacuum, blowers, motors, bearings, pumps, etc.
- Electrical, mechanical, and programming experience.
- Welding and metal working experience is a plus.
- Applicant must possess a valid Drivers' License and clean driving record.
- Uses time effectively; anticipates obstacles, works with a sense of urgency, adjusts priorities as needs change and keeps others informed of progress.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be adaptable in a fast paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license may be required for field service duties.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
