Summary

As a Sandblaster, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting and finishing by utilizing sandblasting techniques. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality results that meet our clients' specifications and contribute to our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sandblasting equipment to prepare surfaces for coating.
• Select appropriate materials and techniques based on project specifications.
• Inspect surfaces before and after sandblasting to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate work schedules and project timelines.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Document work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a sandblaster or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of sandblasting techniques and equipment operation.
• Familiarity with industrial painting processes is highly desirable.
• Ability to read schematics and follow technical instructions accurately.
• Basic math skills for measuring materials and calculating project requirements.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools used in surface preparation.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.

• Monday to Friday

• Industrial painting: 1 year (Required)
• sandblasting: 1 year (Required)
• welding: 1 year (Preferred)
