What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tractor Operator position at Falkor Industry, Inc?
The Operator will be expected to use equipment to excavate, load, move dirt or other material in preparation for burial services. The operator must be able to maneuver efficiently and safely through tight areas within the Cemetery. Aside from equipment operation, this position will require daily duties of maintaining the cemetery grounds to include mowing of the lawn, weed eating, headstone maintenance and installation, weed control, vermin control, sod installation, wall maintenance, landscaping, driveway maintenance, grounds maintenance, and any other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Daily time entry.
- Operation of Tractor equipment.
- Daily Maintenance of the Cemetery Grounds.
- Ensure equipment is in the best working condition by conducting daily inspections, equipment greasing, minor repairs, and cleaning equipment daily.
- Ability to communicate appropriately with visiting families as needed.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3 years of experience being a Tractor Operator
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid State Driver's License
- Meet requirements for: pre-employment physical, drug screening, background check, and MVR check (MVR points are subject to company policy)
