Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic medical care under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors
- Administer medications and injections, and take vital signs
- Assist with patient comfort and hygiene
- Monitor patients' health and report any significant changes
- Document medical information and care provided in patient records
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide a high standard of care
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in the state of AL
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Clinical experience as an LPN, preferably in a healthcare facility
- Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate nature and a strong commitment to providing patient-centered care
