Job Description
The RN Supervisor at Venza Care's Falkville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center plays a vital role in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring compassionate, high-quality patient care. As a trusted mentor, you will guide the nursing team to excellence and directly impact the quality of healthcare services provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the nursing staff, upholding quality standards, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate patient care by scheduling and assigning nursing staff
- Evaluate nursing activities to ensure high-quality patient care, strong team relations, and efficient services
- Monitor patient care quality and assist with patient care as needed
- Respond to complex, urgent, or emergent situations
- Act as a liaison between staff, physicians, and other departments to facilitate effective communication
- Mentor and develop nursing staff, promoting professional growth and training
Qualifications
- Current RN license with the AL state board of nursing
- BSN degree preferred, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
