Fall River Health Services is looking for a ED Technician for our Med / Surg / ED Department.
Responsibilities : Accurately collect and report information concerning the patients medical status.Obtain and document patient vital signs, assist with placement of cardiac monitoring.
Perform 12 lead EKGs.Support and assist healthcare staff in caring for patients.
Assist with positioning patients, applying orthopedic dressings and splints.Clean and stock rooms with appropriate medical supplies and equipment.
Change linen as necessary.Assist with administrative duties such as patient transfers, discharges, collecting registration information and pulling reports in EHR.
Schedule American Heart Association Courses.EMT and CNAs will function in accordance with their respective scopes of practice according to South Dakota codified lawsOther duties as assigned.
The average compensation for this position is $17.50- $20.00 an hour depending on the experience
