MLL Summer Assessment Administrator
Background:
The MLL Assessment Administrator will work between 10-20 hours per week from June 30-August 28, 2025 at the Parent Center. Scheduling is flexible, but interested applicants must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week for most of the summer. Additionally, participation in a training session at PACE on June 26, 2025 is required.
Responsibilities:
- Attend a training session at PACE on June 26, 2025
- Administer English Language initial assessment (WIDA Screener) to incoming students K-12 at the Parent and Community Engagement center (PACE)
- Review assessments results with students and caregivers
- Complete SLIFE screeners and pre-screeners as needed
- Review previous academic records to ensure appropriate placement
- Explain EL and DLE services offered by FRPS, including purpose, delivery and progress monitoring of services
- Complete district EL paperwork with students and caregivers and respond knowledgeably to any inquiries regarding ELE programs.
- Support with scanning and uploading of paperwork for new EL students.
Prerequisites for Application:
- Candidates must hold an active Massachusetts English as a Second Language license.
- Candidates must be certified to administer WIDA screener for Kindergarten and WIDA screener for Grades 1-12.
Preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience in administering WIDA screeners and to those who are bilingual.
