Position Summary : A Dietary Aide assists inthe preparation and service of food and beverage for patients, employees, andspecial events as instructed by the Dietary Manager.
Responsibilities & Duties :
- Use proper food handling, safety, and sanitation techniques
- Complete tasks timely in accordance with meal schedule
- Prepare trays following residents' diet order and requests
- Set up and deliver the food carts to the appropriate resident unit
- Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Properly receive, label, and store food & supplies
- Report concerns of residents and kitchen equipment as needed
- Act as back up for other team aides and cooks
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager
