TRAINING, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School degree or recognized equivalent; previous experience in grounds work, pesticides/week management, horticulture/landscape design and irrigation system repairs is desirable; or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities.Must be available from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.Must be available to work at all sites including San Onofre School.A completed on-line application is required in order to be considered for the opening. Under general supervision, to perform gardening and varied grounds maintenance work on school grounds; to plant, cultivate and maintain lawns, trees, fields, shrubs and landscaped grounds of schools and District offices; to make routine repairs to sprinkler systems; to maintain, cultivate and repair athletic fields; and to do related work as required.
