Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION :
Under general supervision, to assist a certificated Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP), Program Specialist and / or other professional staff in providing a variety of speech therapy services to special education students in accordance with Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals; completes a variety of tasks such as activities designed to develop receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language skills and use of assistive technology devices for communication; works with high school and adult transition students who have identified speech and language disorders as well as other disabilities; performs related duties as assigned.
