ROADWAY ENGINEER, E.I. – MAITLANDFaller, Davis & Associates, Inc. (FDA) is seeking to fill a full-time roadway engineering position in Maitland. The successful applicant will have a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an E.I. certification or the ability to obtain one within one year. FDA’s engineering team is recognized as one of the pre-eminent engineering groups in the State of Florida. Our roadway design projects range from major reconstruction projects to milling and resurfacing, trails, sidewalks, and maintenance of traffic plans. In this role your responsibilities will include:
- Creating horizontal and vertical geometric designs
- 3D modeling
- Plan productions
- Pavement designs
- Lane closure analysis and traffic control designs
- Calculating quantities and generating cost estimates
- Preparing reports and contract documents
- Coordination with multiple disciplines, agencies, and clients
- Participating in field reviews to document existing conditions
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- E.I. Certification (or the ability to obtain one within one year)
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
- Good written and verbal communication skills and basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with OpenRoads Designer, Microstation, and 3D modeling (a plus)
- Experience in roadway design, plans production, and FDOT standards (a plus)
- Available to work a hybrid schedule including time in our Maitland office each week
