Our Falling Prices store is a fast-paced, bin store with high volume freight and a large customer base.
ABOUT THE JOB:
A Falling Prices team member is an important part of the day-to-day functioning of the store. They are responsible for performing daily tasks that are assigned by the manager in an efficient and effective manner. It is important that the team member help maintain a safe and efficient work environment for fellow employees. They should also strive to provide a clean, pleasant, and safe shopping experience for all Falling Prices customers.
Falling Prices is hiring for an Assistant Store Manager for our store in the Red Bluff, CA
Shift: Tuesday - Saturday from 9:45am to 6:15pm occasional overtime (Sunday and Monday are always off)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Management of approximately 3-6 employees
- Overseeing Team meetings
- Delegating tasks to employees effectively and efficiently
- Ability to fill in for employees as needed
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to utilize a forklift if needed (preferred)
- Ability to resolve customer relation issues
- Ability to resolve employee workplace issues
- Additional duties as needed
- How to effectively enforce the Terms of Use to customers if conflict arises
- How to encourage teamwork in the workforce
- How to perform basic Computer skills
- Previous retail management experience required.
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 / hour
