Responsibilities
- Provide desktop support for users experiencing technical issues with their computers and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to operating systems, including Windows environments.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software.
- Utilize ticketing systems to log issues and track resolution progress.
- Implement and manage firewall settings to ensure network security.
- Offer excellent customer service while addressing user inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with IT team members to maintain LAN connectivity and resolve network-related issues.
- Document procedures, solutions, and updates for future reference.
Requirements
- Proficiency in desktop support with hands-on experience in computer hardware troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with operating systems, particularly Windows.
- Experience using remote help desk software for issues.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Knowledge of firewall configurations and network security principles is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Previous experience in an IT support role is preferred but not mandatory.
