ESY School Nurse
Summer Program: July 7, 2025 - August 14, 2025
Monday - Thursday, 7:45 am - 1:15 pm
Qualifications:
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Experience in child health, community health, or other relevant clinical nursing.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Director of Student Services may find appropriate and acceptable.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing services to student populations on a day to day, as needed basis.
- Assessment, triage and treatment of acute illness.
- Administer medications.
- Communicate with parents, faculty/staff and healthcare providers as needed.
- Provide emergency care in cases of injury or sudden illness.
- Participate in staff meetings as needed, providing updates and advice to the team, including parents and guardians.
- Work collaboratively with the ESY Coordinator and colleagues to provide effective student support.
- Perform such other tasks as may be assigned by the Director of Student Services and Extended Year Coordinator.
Salary: In accordance with FEA contract
