Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle issues by inspecting engine and mechanical/electrical components.
- Repair, maintain, and upgrade vehicle computer and electronic systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fluid replacement and part lubrication to ensure vehicle longevity.
- Schedule future maintenance sessions and educate customers on proper vehicle use.
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and address issues like leaks.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an auto mechanic.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
- Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment.
- Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents and hazardous materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship (preferred).
- Valid certification (e.g., ASE) is a definite plus.
- PA Inspection License (preferred).
Compensation
This is a full-time position requiring more than 40 hours per week.
