SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Server it is your responsibility to be knowledgeable in all areas of food, beverage, and service that the restaurant provides. You will learn to anticipate our guests’ needs and to provide a positive dining experience, while exhibiting genuine hospitality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the entire food and drink menu and its preparation, presentation, and service.
- Anticipate guests needs in order to provide a positive dining experience.
- Bus tables as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
- Two years of prior restaurant or food-service experience.
- Experience in serving food and alcohol in a casual or fine-dining setting.
- Awareness of state and local liquor laws.
- Some college level course work or degree a plus.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Hospitality Point of Sale (POS) Systems.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work are expected to fluctuate significantly between the operating hours of the location. The position operates in a professional restaurant environment and the incumbent, in the course of performing this position, spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, driving, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), standing, sitting, walking, and reaching. The incumbent operates all standard office equipment, motor vehicles, and mobile phones. The work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
