We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials within our warehouse or production facility. You will ensure all materials are handled safely and accurately to support daily operations and meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production facility.
- Verify and track inventory using scanners, tracking systems, or manual methods.
- Prepare materials for shipping or production, including packaging, labeling, and staging.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar role preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Basic math and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Forklift certification is a plus (but not required).
