Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler is responsible for the movement, storage, and management of materials within our facility, ensuring efficient workflows and meeting production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase orders.
• Safely transport materials to and from storage, production areas, and shipping locations using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate records and efficient retrieval.
• Prepare and package products for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
• Perform quality checks to ensure materials meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to safety and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve material discrepancies or shortages.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse or production role.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment (certification is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking.
