What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER position at Famicos Foundation?
Assistant Property Managers work with the Property Managers at Famicos Foundation to make sure the property has no vacancies and that the properties have strong curb appeal. You would walk the property to assess condition of buildings and grounds. You would promptly interview and provide tours to prospective residents. You would process applications, conduct credit and reference check in a timely manner. You’d manage accurate records and files of current residents, ready empty units for new residents. You would manage a high volume of calls, taking accurate messages. Maintains and secure office files and fill in for Property Manager in her/his absence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively assesses condition of buildings and grounds.
Promptly interviews and provides tours to prospective residents. Processes applications, conducts credit and reference checks in a timely manner. Promptly readies empty units for new residents.
Manages accurate records and files of current residents.
Conducts Annual and Interim Recerts on a timely basis.
Maintains accurate office files and properly secures them.
Effectively fills in for Property Manager in her/his absence.
Engages in a friendly manner with current and potential residents. Effectively manages a high volume of calls, taking accurate messages.
REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of state and federal housing regulations.
EIV and HUD Experience.
