Salary : $21.00 / hr.
Famicos Foundation, the affordable housing developer and social services provider in Glenville, has an immediate opening for an experienced, outgoing and safety-conscious bus driver.
This is a full-time position (9am-3pm- Monday through Friday). The position requires providing transportation for our residents and staff to and from various locations : shopping districts, events, etc. The position requires pre-trip inspection and routine vehicle maintenance, and timely preparation and submission of reports that include the number of passengers, hours worked, mileage and fuel consumption. The person in this position is also responsible for the maintenance of other Famicos vehicles (licensure, maintenance, repair).
Qualified candidates will have a CDL license with a passenger endorsement, at least 5 years experience driving a bus and a record of safe and quality transportation service.

Other requirements :
- A high school diploma or its equivalent
- Good driving record with no more than two (2) points in the past three years
- Ability to pass drug screen, including nicotine
- Ability to read and write sufficiently to fill out maintenance check lists
- Ability to follow verbal directions and communicate in a clear and concise manner
- May need to assist special needs customers, which may include pushing, pulling and lifting
There is also the potential for overtime pay.
