SUMMARY
The Coordinator performs administrative tasks, provides office management, and organizes community events at Five Pointes Community Center. They report directly to and assists the Director of Community Building & Engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Food Pantry Management
- The manager stocks the pantry and manages pantry volunteers, ensuring the community has access to food on distribution days and throughout the week.
- The manager tracks resident activities in database for record keeping purposes.
Office Management/Admin
- Fosters community interaction and engagement through planning and organizing large-scale events in Hough and Glenville, such as neighborhood festivals, youth summits and holiday programs.
- Works closely with elected officials to design and implement initiatives that meet the needs of residents and community stakeholders.
- Manages daily operations of community center, including staffing, program oversight, and efficient use of the facility.
- Greets residents visiting or calling the center, providing necessary information and resources.
- Pays invoices for the facility.
- Ensures grant management reports are completed on time.
- Supports the Director of CBE by managing community meetings, tracking invoices, and assisting in the management of the vendor database and payments.
- Keeps the community informed of updates and upcoming events.
