AmeriCorps Program Supervisor - Las Cruces, NM

Families and Youth Innovation Plus is looking for an AmeriCorps Program Supervisor to join our team. The AmeriCorps Program Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the program members and program assistance. The Supervisor maintains oversight of the program operations to ensure the day-to-day delivery of community care and build relationships and coordinate efforts with community stakeholders, FYI Agency staff, collaborating organizations, and donors. This includes providing leadership, supervision, and assistance in the oversight of assigned projects, initiatives, and supplemental contracts/services, as well as, daily program operations
What You'll Do:
- Supervise AmeriCorps members and oversee School Support and Safe After School programs
- Build relationships with community stakeholders and manage grant opportunities
- Ensure program compliance with state regulations and AmeriCorps requirements
What You Need:
- Bachelor in Social Work or similar disciplines such as Psychology, Art, Science; or a Child Development Associate Certificate (CDA); or comparable years of experience working with the populations
- Minimum 2-years in a school age child care growth and development setting
- Minimum of 3-years of supervisor experience
- Strong communication and project management skills
