Workforce Advisor
JOB SUMMARY: Workforce Advisor will be part of a statewide team working to empower, prepare, and sustain the diverse early childhood workforce across Minnesota by helping current and aspiring early childhood educators advance and sustain their career goals.

Education and experience: Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or closely related field and experience in childcare related roles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Workforce Advising: Follow the Child Care Aware of MN Appreciative Advising Model to provide Workforce Advising to current and prospective Empower to Educate MN participants

Outreach and Community Building: Work closely with the CCAoMN Coordinating Office Workforce Development team to ensure marketing, outreach, and recruitment efforts are effectively reaching all potential participants in your community.

Data Entry and Tracking: Workforce Advisors will ensure program and participant data is tracked with fidelity by utilizing Empower to Educate data entry, tracking, and documentation policies, procedures, and resources including Workforce Advising RBPD Event Entry in Develop.

Wraparound Services and Community Resources Referrals: Workforce Advisors will follow procedures to connect program participants to financial supports stipends available via the CCAoMN Coordinating Office and will refer program participants to community resources as necessary.

Job Skills Training and Job Placement Support: Connect necessary program participants to Empower to Educate MN pre-service training options (available via ETL, ATL, and/or in-person though the Child Care Aware of MN District agencies).

Ongoing Career and Education Advising.
This non-exempt position is scheduled 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 A.M.-4:30 P.M. Compensation is based upon education level, starting at $24.00/hour. Benefits include Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, Life, Long-Term Disability and 403(b) Retirement Savings, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays and personal holidays.
