Located in Stansbury Park, Families First Pediatrics are Tooele Counties newest pediatric specific medical clinic. are looking for happy, dependable, and self-motivated people to join our x-ray team.
About Us:
Families First Pediatrics was founded by three pediatricians who believed the best care was responsive to patients and convenient for parents. After serving thousands of kids, we realized children’s health needed a more integrated approach.
Our goal of providing incredible, responsive care is why is why we began offering in-house services like mental health counseling, medication management, x-rays, lactation consultation, group therapy, and eventually even dentistry and orthodontics.
As we’ve grown to offer a full suite of integrated pediatric services, we’ve seen how it benefits busy families and improves individual patient outcomes. We’re confident this team approach to children’s health is the model of the future and we’re actively working to bring it to more Utah families.
Through all or growth and evolution, we remain a physician-owned and directed practice.
We have over three dozen children’s health specialists, working together to provide exceptional, integrated healthcare.
Job Description:
- Performing diagnostic x-rays.
- Preparing patients to be seen by physicians.
- Placing splints and/or braces as required by the physicians.
- Demonstrate a professional standard of care with patients and their parents.
- Giving injections as required by the physicians.
- Keeping patients informed of wait times and managing visit expectations.
- Communicates patient concerns and needs to the physicians.
- Performs other duties as determined by the practice manager and/or physicians.
Shift Details:
- This position is full time.
- 30 hours or above is considered full time, and eligible for benefits.
- Work schedules are typically set but may fluctuate each week as needed for coverage.
- Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 9AM – 5PM.
Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program. (ARRT)
- Current Radiologic Technologist licensure in the state of Utah. (DOPL)
- Ability to exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters.
- Proficient computer skills with data entry software
- Must be able to flex schedules in accordance with patient and provider schedules.
Physical Requirements:
Standing, sitting, walking, speaking, listening, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and manipulating tools, typing, using peripheral computer tools.
