We provide Clinical supervision! Ability to provide individual, group and triadic supervision to registered BBS associates (i.e. ASW, APCC, AMFT) in the state of California-Provide supervision, instruction and oversight for associates learning to apply psychological theory and psychotherapeutic intervention to assist with the assessment, diagnosis, and intervention of children, teens, adults, and families experiencing various mental health diagnoses falling under the DSM V.
Primary Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Program Manager you will:
- Provide direct support to adult clients with IDD (intellectual developmental disability) & the service site will be provided out in their natural community
- Carry out all tasks as assigned by the Manager supporting clients to work toward their individual goals, including learning how to complete class assignments and projects accurately and on-time, completing daily independent living tasks, participating in community events, and finding and maintaining employment.
- Create and implement unit and lesson plans for selected workshops varying per site location. Submit to the supervisor for approval.
- Responsible for leading, guiding and planning 1-3 workshops on a weekly basis to address client needs and goals
- Maintain a 1:3 ratio (Generating All Possibilities (GAP) Clients) and/or 1:1 (Tailored Services/Supported Living Clients) at all times between clients and staff.
- Implement each client’s Individual Support Plan (ISP) goals.
- Submit all appropriate daily notes, educational support logs, ISP reports, on time to the appropriate person(s).
- Monitor each client’s ISP goals and objectives to ensure they remain appropriate and attainable and to identify interventions and supports.
- Support clients in accessing generic / community resources and services.
- Attend all client IPP/ISP meetings, as directed.
- Remain in contact with client’s circle (as needed/requested by manager) of support discussing the client’s successes and challenges in meeting their goals and objectives
- Meet weekly with the Manager for supervision.
- Any other job-related duties as assigned by the Manager.
For clients in post-secondary education:
- Understand each client’s individual educational track (increase knowledge, certificate program, associate’s degree and/or transfer, Bachelor’s degree), including credits needed and completed, expected timeline, and requirements for completion.
- Support clients to understand and execute their individual syllabi and related coursework.
- Support clients to appropriately and effectively interact with school personnel including professors and counselors in the Disabled Students Center.
- Collaborate with the Regional Supervisor in determining which accommodations each client may need to access through the Disabled Students Center and how they can support clients in accessing the appropriate accommodations.
- Teach clients how to access on-campus accommodations, tutors, fee waivers, and any other benefit they qualify for as a result of their disability. This also includes generic resources that may be offered through other organizations or entities such as the Department of Rehabilitation, Department of Mental Health etc.
Job Requirements/Evaluation Factors: Bachelor’s degree preferred for those working on college campus with experience working within the social services field and/or specialized training working with young adults with developmental disabilities.
Must have strong organizational skills. Experience working in a classroom setting preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills and be detail oriented.

- DDS and Regional Center classifies all providers as in-person employees.
- A hybrid work schedule is temporary, and you may be asked to report in-person at any given time during your scheduled shifts by your
assigned participants or supervisor.
- Attend and complete all required meetings and training as requested and assigned.
- Maintain acceptable background history and TB results.

- Must be a sensitive and mature individual who is able to relate well to adults.
- Demonstrated warmth, insight, interest, and respect for people with disabilities.
- Able and knowledgeable to cope with emergency situations (i.e., accidents, CPR, seizures, etc.), in a calm and efficient manner.
- Able to work well in a noisy environment and demonstrate high levels of patience and positive attitudes toward people experiencing
developmental disabilities.
- Willing to be a collaborator and team player and to work cooperatively with supervisory
