What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Interventionist (Supporting Students in LAUSD) position at Family, Adult and Child Therapies (FACT)?
Primary Responsibilities under the direction of the Behavior Intervention Developer (BID), you will:
Implement Behavior Intervention Services
Work directly with student to implement their positive behavior support
plan in the school setting or via telehealth.
Understand and implement the behavior support plan in the students
current IEP along with the treatment plan developed and modified by the
BID.
Prompt student to engage in appropriate replacement behaviors.
Collect data on behavior for interpretation by BID, Teacher, and other School
District staff.
Records hours worked with client and client notes in Welligent system daily, after completion of assignments.
Direct all parent inquiries to BID, Provider and Teacher.
Classroom responsibility is to provide ABA service to the assigned student as stated on their IEP.
Data Collection and Documentation of IEP behavior goals.
BII’s are responsible for completing multiple types of data records.
Data must be collected each day, as a requirement of both LAUSD and FACT.
Job Requirements/Evaluation Factors:
Applicant must be able to fluently read, write and speak in English.
Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
Education, training and/or experience working in the field is preferred.
Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend.
Pay rate will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
Job Status: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 to $21.00 /hour
