Member Service Rep
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to enhance our members' experience by providing friendly, accurate, and timely assistance with consumer loans, new accounts, certificates, and IRAs. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience, preferably in a credit union environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional member service by ensuring all interactions are friendly and efficient.
- Assist members with originating consumer loans and opening new accounts, certificates, and IRAs.
- Conduct productive interviews with loan applicants and effectively cross-sell credit union services.
- Ensure accuracy in all transactions and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Uphold a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.
- Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years' experience, preferably in a credit union setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills for conducting interviews and cross-selling services.
- High accuracy in transactions.
- Friendly and professional attitude towards members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and internet usage.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate related office equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
