The Opportunity
The Chore Worker will support clients who are striving to maintain their
independence by providing home care services.
Responsibilities
- Perform light cleaning in areas of the residence utilized by the client, which includes their bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room.
- Wash, dry and fold client's laundry, which may be performed either in the residence or at a laundromat.
- Prepare client's meals, if needed.
- Perform miscellaneous errands including accompanying client to doctor's appointment, supermarket, bank, etc.
- Complete required agency and program reports in a timely manner and in compliance with agency and other regulatory standards.
- Assume other tasks and responsibilities assigned to support the operations of the program.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year experience working with senior population and with the independent management of a home required. Homemaker/Chore Services Training preferred but not required.
- Basic skills with Microsoft Office required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Schedule: Full-Time, 35 hours
This position is non-exempt
