Primary Responsibilities:
· Performs activities related to transportation of clients to and from appointments.
· Making a difference in the lives of the clients we serve by providing them with care and compassion
· Communicates effectively with facility to ensure timeliness to and from scheduled outings, as well as reporting any accident and/or incident involving the company vehicle, staff or client.
· Planning and coordinating logistics for the transportation of clients
· Working with clients to ensure smooth transportation operations
· Organizing and managing routes and schedules
· Addressing and resolving any issues or complaints regarding transportation
· Adheres to policies and procedures for safe transportation operations
· Assessing the need for and arranging appropriate maintenance of transportation vehicles
· Monitor and ensure safety and security of clients and their children while transporting them by holding clients accountable for Family Ark policy and vehicle expectations.
· Assist with childcare when needed.
· Attends agency-wide staff meetings and weekly staff meetings.
· Complete required documentation such as shift notes daily case notes, maintenance requests, documentation related to medical or safety concerns, visitation notes, etc.
· Attends continuing education classes, seminars, and other professional training courses relating to professional development.
· Complies with federal, state, and local laws concerning duty to warn and mandated statutes including mandatory reporting of child abuse and neglect.
· Oversee hygiene and maintenance of the vehicles and reporting safety hazards.
· Other Administrative duties and responsibilities will be assigned when transportation is not needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Ø High School diploma or GED equivalent
Ø Must be at least 21 years old
Ø Two Years of post-secondary education or Peer support specialist certification preferred
Ø Valid Driver’s License
Ø Satisfactory criminal record and sex crimes record check
Ø Adhere to the Family Ark Professional Standards of Practice and can complete required trainings
This position is full-time, up to 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday 10 am - 6 pm
Classification: non-exempt
Salary : $17 - $19
