What are the responsibilities and job description for the School ABA Paraprofessional position at Family Behavior Solutions Inc?
Are you passionate about helping children and their families? We are searching for ABA paraprofessionals to work in our School-Based positions.
The ABA Paraprofessional will work under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor to provide mainly in school-based highly individualized ABA services to children and their educational team.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:15am to 3:15pm.
- Maintain positive attitude and rapport at all times during work
- Provide direct services in a 1:1 school setting
- Carry out individualized treatment plans as directed by the Clinical Supervisor and/or Student Analyst
- Run various goals and sessions
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Model appropriate social and play skills
- Collect ongoing data to track child's progress
- Follow specified goals and accommodations per child's individual goals as directed by BCBA or other educational team members
- Attend and participate in relevant trainings and meetings
- Work collaboratively with school, the Clinical Supervisor, Treatment Coordinator and other professionals
- Maintain appropriate ethical boundaries with other team members
- Take ongoing data on all aspects of treatment
- Maintain current and ongoing documentation of all activities
- Create individual or group therapeutic and educational materials as requested by other members of the team
- Participate in the development in instructional procedure
- Enter all timesheet information into Central Reach
- Other tasks, as directed by supervisors and leads
