TITLE: Television Master Control Operators
DEPARTMENT: Master Control
REPORTS TO: Master Control Supervisor
FLSA: Part-time – non-exempt
BASIC FUNCTION: The Master Control Operator is responsible for monitoring the quality and accuracy of our on-air product, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and preparing programming for future playback. Schedule would be 8am-4pm and/or 4pm-12am Saturdays and Sundays with a flexible schedule.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Monitoring and troubleshooting automation playlists for up to seven television & two radio stations.
- Maintain relationships with clients.
- Switching live news and sports programming.
- Maintaining transmitter logs.
- Other duties as needed.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong computer knowledge.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Reliable with good communication skills.
- Strong work history.
- Previous master control experience is a plus but not required.
*Shifts include days, overnight, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Should be flexible.
