Job Description

Consultant Pharmacist

  • Needs to have experience in long term care (skilled, nursing and assisted living)
  • Must be able to cultivate relationships with staff members at facility
  • The Pharmacist must have up to date clinical knowledge on current long term care literature
  • Have a working knowledge of all the rules and regulations associated with pharmacy, nursing and long term care facilities
  • Flexible schedule
  • Able to navigate/interpret primary, secondary and tertiary literature.
  • The pharmacist will be required to learn our pharmacy software system (QS1) and our consultant software system (RxPertise)
  • On call responsibilities one weekend out of the month
  • Hospital experience
