The Store Manager is responsible for leading a team of sales associates to assist customers in their shopping duties. The position will hire and train qualified store employees, create employee schedules, set and evaluate performance standards, and help sales associates handle customer questions or complaints. The Store Manager will lead daily store operations including managing the store's inventory and ensuring financial goals and sales targets are met on a scheduled basis.
Essential Duties and Other Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations.
- Establish and evaluate product merchandising to maximize sales potential.
- Manage the store's inventory including loss prevention through theft and breakage.
- Maintain proper inventory levels and store merchandising standards.
- Ensure company sales growth goals are met.
- Preform daily cash reconciliation.
- Ensure store cleanliness is maintained.
- Manage all store employees efficiently.
- Recruit, interview, hire, discipline, and fire staff at the store.
- Create employee schedules, assign schedules and responsibility to employees, check to see if responsibilities and assignments are carried through within the store.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing education and support for employees.
- Set criteria for staff, such as sales performance and customer approval or complaints,
- Provide effective leadership by maintaining an environment that promotes teamwork and maximizes individual potential.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, and personnel information systems.
- Provide guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
- Demonstrate results-oriented leadership including the ability to model total development and serve as a steward of our mission and values.
- Proficient math and cash handling skills.

Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
