Location: Family Centered Services of Alaska, Youth Residential Treatment Center. Fairbanks, Alaska.
Position Title: Mental health Technician
Status: Full Time
Full time MHTs are scheduled to work 10 hour shifts and will have a rotating schedule for 3 on, 4 on, 3 on, 4 on etc...
Shifts: 6am- 6pm (12-hour shift) Salary Range not including overtime $20.50 - $21.75 per hour. 5pm- 6pm (13-hour shift) Salary Range not including overnight $20.50 - $21.75 per hour.
All Employees will receive a consideration for a pay increase after 90 days of employment. Full time employees earn 2 weeks of paid vacation during their first year of employment and will earn 4 weeks of paid vacation after one year of employment.
Job Summary: This is an entry level position; seeking individuals that would enjoy working directly with Adolescents between the ages of 12-18 in a mental health setting, role model, teach and supervise adolescents in a structured residential environment. Comprehensive paid training provided to prepare new employees for success in our collaborative environment.
Requirements:
- Must be currently in the state of AK -Local area, any out of state candidates will not be accepted.
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
- 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Must pass a thorough background check conducted by the State of Alaska Background Check department.
- Must be able to fulfill the physical aspects of the position, including but not limited to the ability to physically restrain clients as needed.
- Must be willing to work a Flexible work schedule, including weekends.
- Must have basic computer and typing skills.
