Family Centers is seeking a highly motivated, organized and customer service-minded School Based Group Facilitator to establish and facilitate support groups in collaboration with the school district and School Based Health Center staff in Stamford, CT. The ideal candidate will be able to conduct a needs assessment and develop a group curriculum based on the needs of the identified student population. This person should demonstrate strong communication, clinical and organizational skills as they manage multiple supportive groups throughout elementary, middle and high schools.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Liaises with school personnel and School Based Health Center staff to create new School-Based support groups in Stamford Public Schools
- Plans and facilitates age, gender, population appropriate mutual support groups in Stamford Public Schools
- Ability to lead groups independently
- Co-facilitate groups with School Based Health Clinicians and/or other school personnel as needed
- Creates and updates group curricula based on identified needs, trends, and topics
- Secures proper permissions and releases
- Compiles intake information and program data for necessary reporting
- Maintains the documentation required for services rendered
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mental health counseling from an accredited school
- Experience with group work
- Bilingual is beneficial
