What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Start Teacher position at Family & Children's Place?
The Head Start Teacher is responsible for a Head Start preschool classroom of 3- to 5-year-old children. Works collaboratively with an assistant teacher, family members, and other staff to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities.
This is an on-site position, employed by one of Greater Louisville Head Start's childcare center partners:

- St. Benedict Center for Early Childhood Education (946 S 25th St, Louisville, KY 40210)

- Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education OR
- Bachelors Degree in a related field with a minimum 15 semester credit hours or 25 quarter credit hours in Early Childhood Education and minimum one year experience working with children from birth to 5 years of age.
