This is an incredible opportunity to work on and supervise the ONLY team of this kind in Tulsa with our NAVIGATE program. Designed to provide early and effective treatment to individuals ages 16 – 30 who have experienced first episode of psychosis, F&CS is one of about 60 sites throughout the U.S. that provides this state-of-the-art, evidence-based treatment model for clients experiencing early stages of a schizophrenia spectrum disorder.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for clinical supervision, case assignment, and direct services for F&CS NAVIGATE clients.
- Responsible for initial and ongoing program development, including coordination and supervision of staff.
- Supervises and evaluates the multidisciplinary team in conjunction with appropriate support to ensure service excellence and courteous, helpful, and respectful services to program clients.
- Functions as a practicing clinician on the team when necessary.
- Clinically supervises staff in their provision of services to clients including compliance with agency policies and procedures and ethical guidelines.
- Evaluate employees on performance and competence in work habits, productivity and knowledge/skill.
- Directing and participation in weekly staff meetings and daily treatment huddles, along with as-needed crisis staffing for NAVIGATE and the IPS supported employment programs.
- Maintain a confidential work environment.
- Coordination of quality assurance review and utilization review systems.
The Supervisor will be accountable and follow all professional practices providing a nurturing, team-oriented environment with staff but also making sure standards are met and clients receive culturally sensitive and compassionate care following the overall philosophy and mission of Family & Children’s Services. Provide clinical supervision to mental health and co-occurring service providers who bill to Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse and Oklahoma Health Care Authority.
Requirements
- Licensed, with minimum 3-5 years clinical experience.
- Supervisory and program management experience is desirable.
- Must possess a valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record and use personal automobile to travel to locations other than primary office.
CCBHC Model of Care
Family & Children’s Services works to heal hurting and abused children, strengthen families, and provide hope and a path to recovery for those battling mental illness and addiction. You will be working in an innovative and dynamic environment using a new transformative model of care Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). This model is characterized by innovative, team-based approach and whole person care for adults and children with a range of complex mental health and substance use challenges.
Utilizing multi-disciplinary teams, staff work collaboratively to provide a coordinated effort to enhance client recovery. Robust CCBHC services often result in better client outcomes and quality of care due to:
- Increased access to care and crisis services
- Expanded traditional community mental health and substance use services.
- Added Care Coordination and physical health screening for mental health clients
- Greater access to Social Services for clients’ economic and social needs
- Increased specialized services for veterans, those most in need, and those impacted by the opioid crisis.
