Responsible for care of medical and psychiatric clients, be a liaison for hospital and structure emergency care for patients, participation in patient care teams, and assistance to management, as requested. Demonstrates knowledge of co-occurring disorders and appropriate interventions. Generally will treat over 20 patients daily.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Medical Degree with psychiatry specialty and a minimum of 5 years of psychiatry experience.
- Previous experience in community-based mental health organization is desired.
- Extensive experience diagnosing mental health problems with adult & children clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Appropriate credentials to practice psychiatry in Oklahoma.
No history of ethics or other professional violations
SPECIAL JOB DIMENSIONS:
Normal office hours, with some evening and weekend clinic hours for clients.

- Added Care Coordination and physical health screening for mental health clients
- Greater access to Social Services for clients’ economic and social needs
- Increased specialized services for veterans, those most in need, and those impacted by the opioid crisis.
