Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Greet and check in patients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, and comfortable. Answer all incoming calls with professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness, addressing patient inquiries and scheduling needs.
- Appointment Management: Schedule patient appointments, confirm details, and manage calendar efficiently to optimize provider time. Coordinate with patients for follow-up care and additional services as required.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk to ensure a seamless flow of operations, including organizing patient records, confirming appointments, managing waiting times, and maintaining a clean, inviting environment.
- Patient Advocacy: Act as a liaison between patients and our doctors, addressing concerns and ensuring a high level of satisfaction throughout their care.
- Documentation: Input accurate patient data into our electronic medical records (EMR) system and ensure HIPAA compliance with confidentiality and privacy standards.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve patient issues and concerns with a positive, proactive approach. Maintain a calm and empathetic demeanor while ensuring patients’ needs are met.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely as a team to support the patient experience, assist in coordination of care, and ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with basic computer functions
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service with a focus on patient care and satisfaction
- Ability to work under pressure, manage a fast-paced work environment, and maintain attention to detail
