Job Summary
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare to patients across all ages. The FNP is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of health conditions while promoting health education and preventive care. Duties

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of patients.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including medical imaging and laboratory tests.
  • Perform procedures such as specimen collection processing and sonography as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems like Cerner.
  • Adhere to aseptic techniques in all clinical procedures to ensure patient safety.
