As a Counseling Intern, you will work under the supervision of a licensed professional counselor to provide individual, group, and family counseling services. Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric diagnostic assessments to determine medical necessity.
- Develop, implement, and update Individual Service Plans with the client.
- Provide psychotherapy/counseling services through individual, group, and/or family methods.
- Maintain client records in accordance with state standards and policies.
- Coordinate and communicate with other community agencies to ensure effective inter-agency cooperation.
Requirements:
- Curently hold a CT (Counseling in Training) certification
- Knowledge in the implementation of current diagnostic standards
- Ability to develop and implement treatment plans
- Skills in crisis intervention and emergency services
- Specialized knowledge of the substance use field
