Family Concierge (www.instagram.com/familyconciergetm) has partnered with a welcoming family of five in Buffalo, NY, who are seeking an experienced, engaging, and adaptable nanny to provide loving care for their three children: a 7-year-old boy, a 2.5-year-old boy, and a 6-week-old baby girl. The family is looking for someone who will not only care for their children but also become an integral part of their household, building a long-term relationship for the next 1-3 years.
Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (primary care for the 2.5-year-old, occasionally with the newborn)
- Tuesday, Thursday: Flexible hours during the day (varies weekly)
- Occasional Evenings: 1-2 evenings per week for date nights (optional but preferred)
Compensation: $25-$30/hour (depending on experience)
Guaranteed Hours: 30 Guaranteed Hours Per Week

Key Responsibilities for this Placement Include:
Childcare
- Create a nurturing, stimulating environment for the children, with activities that promote learning, creativity, and growth.
- Drive children to school, activities, or events as needed.
- Provide consistent care for the 2.5-year-old during daytime hours and support with the newborn as needed.
- Engage the 7-year-old in after-school activities and help with homework.
Household Support:
- Prepare meals/snacks for the children.
- Assist with light tidying related to the children (e.g., toys, play areas, meal cleanup).
- Travel occasionally with the family (e.g., to Ellicottville on weekends or other trips).
The Family Requests Their Nanny Have, At Minimum:
- Experience with children of all ages, especially infants and toddlers. Newborn care specialists are encouraged to apply!
- Reliable transportation and comfort with driving children to school, activities, and events.
- A love for children, along with creativity to plan engaging activities that promote learning and growth.
- Enthusiasm to grow with the family and stay long-term, for a minimum of at least one year (ideally 3 years)
- Enthusiastic and positive with a “can-do” attitude.
In Addition to the Must-Haves, The Family’s Ideal Nanny Match Will Be:
- Adaptable, proactive, and communicative.
- Comfortable with light household tasks like tidying up, preparing snacks/meals, and helping with laundry.
- Interest in occasional travel with the family to places like Ellicottville for winter weekends.
