Family Connection-Communities In Schools of Athens seeks a Program Manager to oversee implementation of the Communities In Schools Site Coordinator model in local schools, to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. The ideal candidate has experience with data management, supervision of remote team members, a highly-collaborative style, and the ability to manage multiple relationships. Responsibilities:
· Oversee implementation of the CIS Site Coordinator program, including compliance with all requirements of national Communities In Schools, Communities In Schools of Georgia, and funders
· Supervise and support Family Connection-Communities In Schools (FC-CIS) site coordinators
· Assure completion of annual site plans by each site coordinator
· Review all site coordinator student cases weekly
· Responsible for the oversight of Integrated Student Supports, multi-tier implementation for all assigned school sites.
· Responsible for interviewing potential candidates and staffing of assigned school sites in collaboration with Administration.
· Responsible for monitoring, training, and direct supervision of FC-CIS Site Coordinators.
· Responsible for performance evaluation reviews of FC-CIS Site Coordinators.
· Responsible for building and managing relationships with all FC-CIS Stakeholders.
· Responsible for Supervision and Site Monitoring Visits (including formal campus visits which may include meeting with campus administration).
· Responsible for fiscal oversight of site budgets, providing timely approval where appropriate for requested expenditures.
· Responsible for advancing the planning of an efficient program operations; development of corrective action plans (as needed), goal-setting and performance expectations.
· Assure all required data collection is entered into required data management systems
· Communicate closely with the executive director at all times
· Communicate regularly with the principal at each site coordinator’s school
· Provide written reports for the Board of Directors each month, and for all funders as required
· Provide staff support for the FC-CIS K-12 Strategic Action Team
· Participate in ongoing programmatic review with the executive director
· Give presentations on the progress of the project
· In coordination with the executive director, development director, and board, work to raise funds to sustain the project
· Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Commitment to the mission of Family Connection-Communities In Schools of Athens
· Master’s degree in Social Work or related field preferred; relevant experience may be substituted
· Knowledge of the Athens community preferred.
· Experience in program management, including supervision of staff
· Excellent writing, communication, and leadership skills
· Strong Data Management skills and knowledge of Data Management Systems (preferably working knowledge of CISDM)
· Strong understanding of community systems that serve children, including schools, health systems, human services, and others
· Strong ability to work with a county-wide collaborative program
· Ability to work flexible hours in addition to attending out of town conferences and training as required.
