Job Title: Lead DUI Accountability Court Clinician

Status: Full time, Salaried position, some flexibility in schedule

This position is responsible for providing substance use assessments, individual sessions, and group treatment for participants in the Athens-Clarke County DUI Accountability Court. Individual and group sessions will be conducted utilizing evidence-based curriculum, and the provider will be responsible for keeping up with continuing education specific to substance use disorders and effective treatment modalities. This person is responsible for coordination and oversight of the clinical team, ensuring coverage of groups, and representing the team in court proceedings. They will maintain a caseload, giving treatment recommendations to the Treatment court team, attend weekly staffings, attend court sessions, and participate in supervision by our clinical supervisors twice per month.

Applicants must possess a master’s degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent field. Experience working in the criminal justice population preferred. Applicants must be familiar with HIPAA, federal confidentiality rule 42CFR regulations and be good at documentation, including participant sessions and group notes. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, pass a background check, and a drug screen.
