Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bid Coordinator to join our team. As a bid coordinator you will be responsible for managing the bid submission process for the company, ensuring that proposals are accurate, meet the client's needs, and are submitted on time.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with estimators, project managers and senior management.
- Prepping the Bid Package along with follow up on submitted bids and estimates.
- Overseeing the response to Requests for Tenders (RFT) or Requests for Proposals (RFP).
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for bid submissions.
- Research and identify bid and estimate opportunities in the area.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer needs and competition.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors and subcontractors.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients to maximize profitability.
- Continuously improve bid management processes and procedures.
- Ensuring all deadlines are met and all bid paperwork is complete.
- Performing risk assessments and addressing concerns of clients and company staff.
- Ensuring proposals meet strict deadlines.
- Being able to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines.
- Having a high level of attention to detail.
- Communicating effectively in writing and with customers, the public, government, and other external sources.
