Responsibilities
- Assist in the supervision of children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate educational activities and programs.
- Help with the care of infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and providing comfort as needed.
- Engage children in play and learning activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including sanitizing toys and equipment regularly.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive behavior among children.
- Assist in documenting children's progress and maintaining records as required.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus for supporting diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques to create a structured learning environment.
- Experience in caregiving for infants and toddlers is highly desirable.
- A passion for childcare, coupled with strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with children and families.
