Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in assisting Dr. Nicole Johnson with various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care, reliable, friendly and enjoys taking on challenging but fun dental cases.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
- Sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and organized environment
- Take dental X-rays while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as making impressions or preparing dental materials.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Mill Cad/Cam crowns
- 3D print partials, dentures and retainers
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Dental Assistant certification (preferred)
- Radiology certification (required)
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, with knowledge of general dentistry practices.
- Familiarity with endodontics, prosthodontics, and relevant dental procedures is a plus.
- Experience in a dental office setting (preferred)
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental software (preferred)
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and instruments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
