Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. Duties
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional manner.
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette.
- Scheduling appointments and manage calendars for Doctors.
- Checking patient insurance coverage and verifying benefits before appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and billing information.
- Processing Payments, collecting co-pays, and handling billings inquires.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry and clerical duties.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide support as needed.
- Operate office equipment, including phone systems and computers.
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience of minimum of 1 yr as a dental receptionist.
- Experience with DENTRIX ASCEND software management a plus.
- Familiarity with medical or dental receptionist duties is a plus.
- Proficiency in office management practices and computerized systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Experience in handling clerical tasks or as a personal assistant is beneficial.
- Experience in fast-phase environment.
