Job Responsibilities:
- Patient Scheduling: Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using Open Dental software. Ensure accurate appointment information and minimize scheduling conflicts.
- Insurance Verification & Billing: Verify patient insurance benefits, submit claims, and follow up on outstanding claims. Process co-pays and payments at the time of service.
- Front Desk Operations: Greet patients as they arrive, check in and out, and ensure all necessary forms are completed. Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone.
- Patient Communication: Send appointment reminders, recall notices, and other patient communications via phone, email, or text. Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Patient Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files, including medical history, treatment plans, and insurance information, within Open Dental.
- Billing & Payments: Process patient payments, issue receipts, and assist in financial collections. Manage patient balances and insurance payments.
- Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day office operations, including managing the front desk, answering phone calls, and handling correspondence.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and effective office operations.
Requirements:

- Previous dental office or medical front desk experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using office equipment and basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of insurance verification, claims submission, and billing procedures is a plus.
