What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health and Wellness Coordinator position at Family Enrichment Network, Inc.?
The Health and Wellness Coordinator is responsible for all Agency health programs, including the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), Nutrition Outreach and Education Program (NOEP), Mental Health Consultation, Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) Health Care Consultancy, CPR/First Aid Training, and CCRC MAT Training. The Coordinator will oversee operations and compliance with all individual grant and funding regulations. The Health and Wellness Coordinator will conduct Reflective Supervision for Mental Health Consultants. Job requires some evening hours and travel within Broome, Chenango and Tioga Counties.
- · Oversees all health and wellness related grants and programs, including, but not limited to, CACFP, NOEP, HCC, MHC, and CPR/First Aid & MAT training.
- · Ensures compliance with all program and grant regulations, both federal and state.
- · Works collaboratively with funders, including NYS Department of Health, Broome County Health Department, the Office of Children and Family Services and local Department of Social Services.
- · Submits program reports and claims to funding sources.
- · Attends all meetings and trainings called by the different funding sources.
- · Supervises staff.
- · Works within a team to develop creative programming to respond to community needs.
- · Works with other community service agencies and organizations. Attends meetings, serves on advisory committees, and advocates for needed services.
- · Ensures all contract deliverables are met and exceeded.
- · Uses computer programs efficiently, including entering all information into program databases.
- · Attends Agency Coordinator meetings and department meetings monthly.
- · Works with the department director to ensure a high-functioning and respected team.
- · Contributes to the CCR&R Provider Newsletter.
- · Is aware of resources in the Agency and in the community and makes appropriate referrals when needed.
- · Participates in agency visibilities and outreach efforts.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
